Every time I find some good contemporary jazz, it restores a little more of my faith in humanity.
This dude is one such practitioner of said music, and he has a bit of a slant towards the hip hop and soul regions of nu-jazz, while maintaining that post-bop vibe of years gone by.
Plus, having the incredible Chris Dave on the skins certainly helps your cause.
