Album is just ridiculous.
There is just this weird kind of aura that it creates; from the serene photo on the cover, to the incredibly harsh vocals and complex riffs. The tonal qualities are quite different for grind, and add to the strange feel of the album. It all feels like you're just staring bleary eyed at the sun; something intensely beautiful.
Lyrically, it's even more removed from the grind norm; covering introspection, philosophy, relationships, and oddly referencing T. S. Elliot and Neon Genesis Evangelion.
